We are Steffi and Thomas — a small team near Weimar who have dedicated their passion to family photography. For us, genuine emotions, closeness and small gestures are central: a child’s shy smile, tender looks between parents, or the tiny hands of a newborn. Our motto “We photograph love” reflects both our visual style and our way of working. Why choose us? Because we see family photos as keepsakes that tell stories and turn everyday moments into heirlooms. Since we met in 2012, our complementary strengths—Steffi’s sensitive sense for composition and Thomas’s calm eye for spontaneous moments—have shaped our approach. We work quietly and respectfully so parents and children feel at ease and forget the camera — that’s when natural, emotional images appear. How we work: before each session we get to know you — by phone or a short meeting — to understand your wishes and choose the best setting. Whether a homestory at home, a warm outdoor reportage at sunset, or a relaxed studio session: we pick the perspective that suits your family best. For newborn and baby sessions we take time, allow breaks and create a safe, calm atmosphere so your little one feels secure. For family photos we prefer documentary elements to stiff posing: movement, laughter and closeness are our ingredients for true memories. In addition to stills we also love moving images — small highlight videos that complement your family story and keep it alive. Based in Weimar, we are locally rooted but always eager to explore new locations.
