Hello — I’m Marianne, a wedding photographer based in Neustadt in Holstein who also specialises in family photography. I believe the best memories are lived, not staged. That’s why my family work focuses on natural, candid portraits: from newborn and baby photos to children’s portraits and full family sessions — including special moments like baptisms, communions and birthday shoots. My approach is warm and authentic. I shoot outdoors on location and in my small, well-equipped studio in Kassau, always aiming for images that feel like you. For little ones I bring a few helpers (Henriette the squeaky duck and a bubble machine often do the trick) and I take the time kids need. Parents appreciate my calm patience and ability to make even camera-shy people feel comfortable. How I work: we start with a short conversation to clarify your wishes and the flow of the session. During the shoot I leave plenty of room for play and natural interaction, stepping in with gentle guidance when posed images are wanted. Editing is subtle — whites stay white, skin tones stay natural, and retouching is used sparingly so the photos remain timeless.
