Hej — I'm Imke, your comfort-focused family photographer based in Neumünster. I specialise in capturing family life in a documentary, heartfelt way so your images feel like memories you can return to again and again. My approach is unobtrusive: I give gentle direction when needed and otherwise observe the small, honest moments that tell your story. My visual style is clear, natural and occasionally artistic. I mostly shoot with natural light — whether at your home, in my L'Atelier de Maman, or outdoors. Intimate moments like breastfeeding, first cuddles or the quiet of the postpartum period especially benefit from this soft, authentic treatment. I shoot both analog and digital, and I love collaborating on creative moodboards when you have a vision. Your comfort is central to how I work: we plan ahead, discuss locations, outfits and wishes, and I allow time for breaks and the unpredictable rhythm of children and newborns. As a trained Holistic Doula, I accompany families around motherhood with additional sensitivity and understanding — a perspective that enriches my newborn and postpartum reportage work.
