Moin — I’m Maren. As an experienced family photographer based in Kiel, I love capturing the small and big moments that make family life unforgettable. Whether in my cozy studio, on the beach or at one of your favourite local spots, my aim is to create relaxed, authentic images that feel like you. My style is bright, modern and understated: no stiff poses or forced smiles, just natural connection and warmth. How I work: We start with a short introduction so we feel comfortable together. On the day of the shoot I work calmly and intuitively, offering gentle guidance rather than rigid direction so children and adults can be themselves. I favour natural light and simple compositions that highlight relationships. Afterwards you get access to a password-protected online gallery to choose your favourites. The final edits keep the natural look intact through subtle retouching, balanced tones and careful cropping. What drives me: Growing up on an island and living by the sea, I appreciate small details and quiet emotions. Photographing families is about preserving those everyday treasures — the small gestures and big laughs that become memories. I regularly photograph families, children and baby sessions and bring the same sensitivity to family work that I use as a wedding photographer.
