Based in Itzehoe, I specialize in sensitive, natural family photography as well as newborn and baby portraits. My approach is quiet and unobtrusive — I immerse myself in your familiar surroundings to capture genuine interactions and the small gestures that make your family unique. Why choose Lichtfühler? Technical skill is a given, but my images are defined by feeling. As a highly empathetic photographer I have a keen sense for moods and for working with children. I photograph at eye level, sometimes let children take a picture themselves, and use gentle techniques to engage them without pressure. Many families say they barely noticed my presence — and still received photos full of warmth and closeness. How I work: For newborn and baby sessions I come to your home where you and your little ones feel most comfortable. I rely on natural daylight or soft LED continuous light rather than flash — this creates calm, trust and natural skin tones. Sessions typically last 1.5–2 hours and there’s no ticking clock: breaks are normal and the atmosphere should stay relaxed. What you can expect: Cohesively edited images in high resolution suitable for printing, plus carefully retouched favourites. I offer personal guidance before the shoot, gentle direction during the session, and fast delivery of your photos via a secure online gallery. I serve Itzehoe and the surrounding region of Schleswig-Holstein — Elmshorn, Pinneberg, Heide and Hamburg are within my usual range.
