A photograph is a return ticket to a moment that would otherwise be lost. My name is Jana Rother — a photographer from Zittau — and I love telling family stories through images. As an experienced family photographer I focus on natural, unposed photos that capture genuine connections, laughter and the small gestures that become your most treasured memories. My approach is personal and empathetic: I take time to get to know you, explain the session flow and create a relaxed atmosphere where children feel comfortable and parents can be themselves. Whether it’s a relaxed family shoot outdoors, intimate maternity photos, or tender newborn portraits — my goal is to create authentic images that reflect your family’s personality. Newborn photography is primarily done in my studio, where I provide a calm, warm setting. If preferred, I can also come to your home for a session. Outdoor family and maternity shoots are popular for their soft light and timeless surroundings. In addition to family work, I am active as a wedding photographer in Zittau and bring that reportage experience to capturing moments and emotions unobtrusively. I also accept requests for special family occasions like baptisms, communions or children’s birthdays as supplementary services tailored to your needs. My style is gentle, heartfelt and approachable.
