Photography is memory, is emotion. At MWei Photography my emphasis is on the intimate, meaningful moments around pregnancy and newborn life. I believe the moment is what matters — and that belief guides images that do more than look beautiful; they keep memories alive. I focus primarily on expectant parents and newborn families: aesthetic maternity sessions, gentle newborn shoots in the early weeks, and photographs that honestly document the new family dynamic. Classic newborn sessions work best within the first two weeks after birth, when babies sleep deeply and a variety of calm poses are possible. After that period I also capture more interactive family moments. My approach is calm, empathetic and craft-driven. I favor natural light and make deliberate compositional choices to create timeless photos that carry emotion. A growing collection of outfits and props is available, and I’m happy to advise you so the images reflect your family’s character. The process is personal and straightforward: a free consultation before the shoot to discuss wishes, clothing and location. During the session I prioritize a relaxed atmosphere — nothing is forced, and patience is part of the work. I use professional equipment (e.g. Nikon D850, Sigma lenses) to ensure image quality and detail. While I occasionally accept business assignments, my true focus remains maternity and newborn photography.
