As a family photographer based in Oschatz, I focus on creating natural, timeless images that preserve the quiet, genuine moments of family life. My work relies on natural light — I deliberately avoid flash and artificial lighting because it’s the daylight that renders delicate skin tones and the intimate atmosphere of pregnancy and early childhood most beautifully. What sets VerSCHERFt apart is a craft-oriented eye and an attention to detail: many of the blankets, hats and props I use are handmade, thoughtfully chosen to create gentle, soothing compositions. My new daylight studio in central Oschatz is roomy and cozy, offering a comfortable corner for cuddling, a changing station and a large swing that is arranged with cushions and blankets — ideal for relaxed family and baby sessions. My approach is patient and caring. Newborn sessions are most successful within the first 4–14 days, when babies are still curled and sleep deeply. Baby photography often begins around six months, when first movements and playful expressions bring images to life. For children’s portraits I frequently work outdoors: open spaces, play and natural sunlight encourage candid smiles and authentic expressions. How I work: we’ll discuss the mood and location you prefer — studio or outdoor — before the session. During the shoot I create a calm, friendly environment; breastfeeding and cuddle breaks are welcomed. You’re invited to bring personal items; I’ll integrate them into the session to make the images even more meaningful. My passion is turning fleeting phases of family life into photographs you’ll return to with warmth.
