I’m Susen — a family and wedding photographer based in Markkleeberg near Leipzig. Since 2011 I’ve been accompanying families through life’s most precious chapters: relaxed outdoor family sessions, intimate newborn home-reportages, gentle maternity shoots and heartfelt wedding stories. As a mother of three, I know which images later become the true family treasures. My style is documentary, sensitive and attentive to detail. I prefer photographing outdoors — at lakes and in natural surroundings around Leipzig and Markkleeberg — because children and adults move more freely there and real moments happen. I favor small, natural directions over rigid posing, aiming for timeless images that show genuine emotion. For newborns I come to your home to capture the first days when comfort and familiarity matter most. Home sessions allow relaxed, authentic photos of tiny hands, loving touches and the special post-birth atmosphere. Family and children sessions usually last 60–90 minutes; I plan them without rush so everyone can relax and enjoy the experience. As an experienced wedding photographer I document your day with care — from getting ready to ceremony, portraits and reception. I work discreetly in the background, capture real moments and offer practical planning tips and local location suggestions. What you can expect: honest, timeless images that tell your story. Before the shoot we’ll talk through outfits, locations and timing so you arrive relaxed. Afterwards you receive a password-protected gallery and professionally edited images in my signature look.
