As a family photographer my focus is on making real connections and personal stories visible. In my small vintage studio in Limbach‑Oberfrohna (near Chemnitz) and in the surrounding nature I create quiet, poetic family portraits — not as a series of posed shots but as images that capture closeness, small rituals and what makes your family unique. Why choose me? Because I favour expression, mood and authenticity over surface perfection. I work quietly and attentively: much of the best photography happens when we allow the moment to unfold. Whether cosy living‑room scenes, a walk in the nearby pond area, or relaxed moments in the studio garden — my photographs tell of genuineness, humour, tenderness and the little peculiarities that make your family who you are. My approach is personal and relaxed. Before the session we take a moment to talk — preferably in writing or over a cup of tea in the studio — so we can shape the atmosphere you want. On the day of the shoot I create a space where you can move, play and be yourselves; there is no pressure and no rigid posing. I accompany, observe and offer suggestions without staging. This way natural series, intimate portraits and occasionally more experimental, poetic images emerge. I also enjoy photographing children and maternity (baby‑bump) moments as a complementary part of my family work — newborns and toddlers are treated with particular calm and sensitivity. You will receive carefully edited digital images; if you wish, we can also discuss fine art prints or photo books to keep your story visible for years.
