Natural family and baby photography by Jana Schnobl in Freital & Dresden. Warmth, calm and personal care for authentic, unstaged memories — complemented by handcrafted photo products.
I’m Jana Schnobl, a family photographer who focuses on capturing honest, unstaged moments that become treasured family memories. Working from a cozy studio in Freital and on location in the surrounding nature, I create warm, natural images of families, babies and newborns that tell your story — not just show a pose. For me, photographs are pieces of life’s history: timeless keepsakes that bring you back to those small, unforgettable moments. My approach is personal and gentle. From our first contact we talk about your wishes, preferred colors and locations so I can prepare a session tailored to your family. On the shooting day I work with patience and care — building in cuddle breaks, feedings and time for siblings — and guide you softly so everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. Working with children means playful prompts, calm presence and the ability to capture real emotions — those are the images that matter most in years to come. The studio is designed as a feel-good oasis: warm tones, soft blankets, baskets and carefully chosen props plus a small wardrobe of outfits. During image selection I present your photos on a large screen and advise on presentation options. I love handcrafted photo products — passepartout boxes, albums and frames that can be customized to fit your home. Photos shouldn’t stay forgotten on hard drives; they deserve a place where they can be seen and enjoyed every day. Quality and sustainability are important to me: I select materials and products with care, and many prints are produced by hand so that color, texture and format do justice to your images. I’m not about quick results but about creating touching, lasting memories that bring a smile. If you’re looking for natural family photos that show closeness, calm and authenticity, I’d be delighted to hear from you and plan your session together.
