At the heart of my work is the family and their story. As an experienced family photographer based in Saarbrücken, I create sessions that capture genuine moments and tender bonds—sometimes posed, sometimes documentary. Ensuring parents and children feel comfortable and safe is essential; I work with calm patience and empathy so authentic, timeless images can emerge. My approach is shaped by many years of photographic practice and my background as a pediatric nurse. This combination gives me a sensitive understanding of infants and children—their needs always come first. Over more than a decade of self-employed work I have photographed hundreds of newborns and accompanied many families, developing an eye for the small rituals and pauses that become treasured memories. How I work: we start with a short phone or video chat to discuss your wishes and plan the session. Whether in the studio or outdoors, we tailor the shoot to what suits your family best. During the session I create a relaxed, trusting atmosphere, offer gentle guidance, capture spontaneous interactions and use props sparingly—less is often more. Clients value the natural quality of my images and the respectful way I accompany people. I also volunteer for bereaved parents (Sternenkinder) and regularly offer free sessions for families with children who have special needs. This commitment reflects my belief that every family deserves dignified, loving keepsakes.
