As a family photographer based in Losheim, my passion is creating authentic, unforced memories you will cherish. I'm Silke from Fotostudio Camera Obscura — a mother and experienced photographer who works from a cozy home studio and selected outdoor locations. I specialize in family sessions, newborn and baby photography, children’s portraits, and milestone events such as baptisms, communions and birthdays. My approach is personal and patient. With newborns and small children, calm and time are essential: I schedule sessions so there’s room for feeding, changing or a comforting nap. You are welcome to bring personal items — favorite toys, blankets or heirlooms make the images uniquely yours. My studio is equipped to deliver both classic and creative looks. What sets my work apart is a gentle photographic signature: natural posing, sensitive direction and subtle retouching that preserves personality. I aim to capture entire life-phases rather than isolated shots — pictures that grandparents, children and future generations will love. Many clients return over the years, from pregnancy shoots to newborn sessions and family portraits as the children grow. The process is straightforward: we discuss your wishes in advance, choose a suitable location or plan the studio shoot. Afterward we select the best images together and I refine them in post-processing. For newborn packages I place special emphasis on printed photos on premium paper, because tangible memories are often the most precious.
