I’m Nina — a family photographer based in Mainz who loves the wild, unposed moments of everyday life. For me, family photography is about closeness, authenticity and capturing the little interactions that later become a family’s most cherished memories. From newborn cuddles at home to children running through the garden or a loving hug at a birthday — I don’t chase perfect poses, I look for real emotion. My style is natural, intimate and documentary-driven. I guide a little where it helps, but mostly I stay unobtrusive so genuine moments can unfold. That approach lets me capture images that feel like memories rather than staged portraits. I adapt to your family’s rhythm: calm and gentle when needed, playful and energetic when the kids lead the way. Personal connection matters. We usually start with a short message, a phone call or a coffee walk — whatever suits you best. That helps me understand your family, your dynamics and the moments you want to preserve. On the shoot day I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere so authentic closeness and unforced smiles can appear. In addition to family portraits, I photograph baptisms, communions, children’s birthday parties and newborn sessions. I’m also a wedding photographer in Mainz, and that experience informs my family work: an eye for emotional storytelling, calm composure in busy moments and attention to detail.
