Since 2010 I have been photographing families, couples, children and babies as a freelance photographer — I observe, marvel and love capturing natural, spontaneous emotions. Based in Ingelheim am Rhein, family photography is especially close to my heart: I look for the small everyday moments, genuine laughter and tender gestures that become timeless family photographs. My approach is calm and unobtrusive. It is important to me that you feel comfortable: often the most beautiful images appear when I step back and let the moment unfold. At the same time I give gentle direction to ease uncertainty and allow natural poses. Whether a relaxed family session outdoors, an afternoon at home or a walk along the Rhine — I look for scenes that tell your story authentically. With a background in communication design, I consider myself a photographing graphic designer. I work in a reduced, composition-focused style with an eye for light and form. The result is clean, emotional imagery that clearly conveys mood and feeling — memories that will still move you years from now. I work with children and babies with care and patience. As a complement to family photography, I capture playful, curious and tender moments — without pressure and with flexibility for the rhythms and needs of little ones.
