Hello — I’m Vanessa (some call me Nessie) and my passion is photographing families and children as they truly are. As a mother of two boys I know how precious everyday moments are: a joyful grin after playtime, sleepy eyes after an adventure, the tiny hands of a newborn. These honest moments are what I love to capture with a calm and empathetic visual style. My approach is intentionally relaxed and unobtrusive. I’m not after staged perfection but authenticity: real emotions, daily routines and the bonds between people. Whether we do a homestory at your home, a newborn session in my cozy home studio, or an outdoor family shoot — I create a comfortable space where you can be yourselves and natural moments can unfold. For maternity and newborn sessions I prioritize calm, safety and patience. My home studio is set up to provide a warm environment where parents and baby feel secure and relaxed. For family and children photography I work playfully: small games, gentle guidance and space to explore help create spontaneous, natural images — even on days when the kids don’t feel like cooperating. As a mum I understand those days and often find the most beautiful shots in the quiet of everyday life. The process is personal and straightforward: we talk through your wishes, choose locations or plan a homestory, and on the shoot day I take my time so genuine moments emerge.
