Lotte Ostermann is primarily a portrait and business photographer — not a dedicated family specialist — but she brings the same sensitivity and visual experience to family shoots when requested. Since 2013 she has been helping clients in Berlin and the Ruhr area look authentic and confident in their images. Alongside corporate and portrait assignments she occasionally photographs families, newborns, babies, children, baptisms, communions and small birthday celebrations as a complementary service. How she works Every session starts with an introductory conversation to clarify goals, locations and the desired image style. Family shoots can take place in her daylight studio in Berlin-Neukölln, at locations across the Ruhrgebiet (Waltrop, Dortmund, Essen etc.) or in clients’ homes. Lotte creates a calm atmosphere with playful guidance for children and practical planning for newborn sessions. For larger shoots she can bring an assistant (e.g. Tobi Bohn) and coordinate with make-up artists.
