I'm Kerstin — a warm-hearted photographer and mother based in Waltrop, specialising in family photography alongside my wedding work. My passion is preserving the real, often fleeting moments that make family life so precious: the candid laughter, gentle embraces and curious little looks that tell your story. My approach is natural and unposed — I prefer to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourselves and I can capture authentic emotions. Being a parent myself gives me a calm, patient way of working with children. I design sessions so kids can move, play and be spontaneous; the best images come when they feel free. For newborns I recommend early planning — the first days to two weeks after the due date often provide the most peaceful moments for those delicate portraits. If a studio session isn’t right for you, I also love documenting homestorys that show everyday family life in a genuine way. You can choose a bright, clean studio session in the pedestrian zone of Waltrop or an outdoor family shoot at a location that means something to you.
