As a family photographer based in Velbert‑Langenberg, Vanessa combines a love for natural light with a warm, relaxed approach. At Vanessa's Fotografie, family sessions focus on real moments rather than staged poses — capturing relationships, small everyday gestures and milestone events like newborn sessions, baptisms, communions or birthday celebrations. My style is intentionally calm: children are allowed to move and be themselves, parents can relax, and the most honest expressions appear naturally. What sets my work apart is the mix of a bright daylight studio (#herzlichtwillkommen) in a Boho aesthetic and outdoor sunset sessions. The studio uses soft, warm tones, pampas grass and gentle props — perfect for newborn and baby portraits as well as cozy family shoots. If you prefer the comfort of your own home, I offer homestory sessions that capture your family in its authentic environment. How we work together: we coordinate time, place and mood ahead of the shoot. For newborns I schedule flexible slots around the expected due date; for families we pick times when the children are rested. During the session I give simple posing guidance, but many of the best images come from playing, walking or cuddling together. Editing leans toward a natural, slightly warm look — optionally with a soft vintage touch that also complements wedding and couple photography. While I am known as a Hochzeitsfotograf in Velbert and love documenting weddings and couples, family photography is a true passion project for me. Living and working in the Ruhrpott and running my daylight studio since 2020, I bring experience and a calm presence to every session.
