I’m Karoline — a wedding photographer based in Steinfurt who also specializes deeply in family photography. My guiding phrase, “Capturing Feelings,” says it all: I’m after the authentic, fleeting moments that tell your family’s story rather than forced poses. Whether it’s a warm sibling hug, a tender look between parents, or a newborn’s tiny yawn, I photograph these moments quietly and with attention to emotion. My background — born in Colombia, years living in Germany and a life shaped by family (my husband and three children) — informs my approach: gentle, personal and relaxed. I aim to create a calm atmosphere so even shy children feel comfortable. Many sessions work beautifully outdoors — in parks, forests or open fields — where natural light and familiar surroundings bring out genuine expressions. I also offer home sessions for candid lifestyle portraits and use my homestudio for quieter, controlled shoots. With experience in newborn and baby photography, I understand the need for patience: breaks for feeding, cuddling and diaper changes are part of every session. I work respectfully and warmly so parents and children feel safe and seen, and the resulting images reflect your family’s closeness.
