Based in Oberhausen since 1918, Foto Kämper specialises in warm, timeless family photography. We believe family photos are more than images—they're memories of relationships, everyday moments and milestones. Whether in our studio, at a favourite outdoor location, or during a newborn session, we work with patience, sensitivity and a keen eye for detail to create natural, honest photographs. Our process is personal and relaxed: before the shoot we talk through your ideas, outfits and preferred locations. In the studio we create a calm environment—ideal for babies or shy children—and can offer appointments outside regular hours when needed. Outdoor shoots capture playful, candid moments at parks, playgrounds or other meaningful places around Oberhausen for lively, authentic images. Newborn and baby photography is handled with particular care: newborn sessions in the first weeks focus on tiny details and gentle poses, and we happily include siblings and parents. We also photograph special occasions such as baptisms, communions and children's birthday celebrations—either discreetly as reportage or as posed family portraits, depending on your wishes. After the shoot we prepare a curated selection in a private online gallery so you can choose your favourites at your leisure. Every chosen image receives a careful basic retouch; more extensive beauty retouching is available on request.
