AF. photography — Andreas Friedrich from Lünen — brings a warm, documentary-inspired approach to family photography. While I’m known as a wedding photographer, family work is a central passion: capturing authentic relationships, fleeting smiles and the everyday gestures that make your family unique. I prefer relaxed, on-location sessions — whether at your home, a favourite park or a meaningful place you choose. My focus is on natural interaction rather than stiff posing: playful moments with children, quiet exchanges between generations, and candid shots that feel true to who you are. Pets and extended family are invited; they often add the most honest moments. Before the shoot I advise on timing, clothing and how to create a comfortable setting. During the session I work unobtrusively to keep the atmosphere calm and enjoyable, allowing kids to be themselves. Technically I aim for clarity and emotion, and in post-production I carefully select and gently retouch the images so they remain timeless and personal. I photograph families, newborns and children, and I also cover family-related events such as baptisms, communions and birthday celebrations.
