Hi, I’m Merit — a photographer based in the Bergisches Land near Cologne. As an experienced wedding photographer and devoted family photographer, I aim to capture your family story as naturally as possible. I love being outdoors: meadows, forests or your favourite places become the backdrop for unstaged, honest moments you’ll want to revisit again and again. Why choose me? I bring that relaxed approach to family and baby sessions: patience, a clear visual style and an eye for small, authentic gestures — no stiff posing, just images full of personality. How I work: We’ll briefly discuss your wishes and preferred locations beforehand. During the session I focus on atmosphere — movement, familiar routines and gentle direction that gives children confidence. For newborns and babies I work carefully and take the required time. I’m also happy to document baptisms, communions or small family gatherings. My style is warm, natural and documentary. I love working with natural light and genuine emotions. Whether it’s a relaxed walk in nature, an at-home shoot or a session at a special place, I’m happy to travel to you — your surroundings make the photos unique.
