My main passion is wedding photography: based in Cologne, I tell your wedding day with heart, attention to detail and an eye for honest, fleeting moments. I accompany couples in Cologne, Bonn, across NRW and travel for destination weddings in places like Tuscany or Mallorca. My reportage style is emotional and unposed — I stay discreetly in the background while remaining ready to capture a quiet tear or spontaneous laughter. Alongside weddings I occasionally photograph families and children: maternity (babybauch), newborn sessions and family gatherings, as well as special occasions such as baptisms, communions or children’s birthday parties. While family work is not my primary focus, I genuinely enjoy documenting these chapters. I apply the same gentle, natural approach: soft light, unobtrusive direction and emphasis on small gestures — a tender cuddle, a curious child’s glance or a quiet moment between parents and their newborn. How I work with families: a relaxed relationship is important so everyone feels comfortable. We can have a short get-to-know chat — in person, by phone or video — to plan the location, timing and wishes. For newborn sessions I often choose calm, at-home settings or a natural outdoor spot depending on what suits you best. With children and birthday shoots I allow room for play and movement to create lively, genuine family photos. Even for smaller family assignments I take care of data security and careful editing. I’m happy to show sample images, advise on prints or albums, and discuss how you can share the photos with relatives.
