I’m Juliane from Lichtbildpalast – for over 20 years I’ve been photographing families, children and newborns across the Ruhr area. My focus is on real, unscripted moments: family photos should reflect who you truly are. That’s why I love shooting outdoors in nature, where children can move freely and authentic, relaxed images emerge. My style is natural and warm. For family sessions we plan together: choosing locations in and around Herdecke, outfit suggestions and the flow of the shoot so you feel comfortable and confident. Clear communication beforehand is important to me — it keeps the day relaxed and ensures the results are personal and honest. Clients often describe the experience as laid-back and friendly: I accompany you with calmness, humor and an eye for the little in-between moments. Newborn and baby photography I handle with special care. I have a cozy daylight studio in Hagen and can also photograph at your home when preferred, so the pictures are created in a familiar environment. I recommend booking newborn sessions early — ideally within the first two weeks after birth — when babies are still sleepy and easy to pose. For older babies and children I usually prefer outdoor sessions: play creates the most lively and genuine images. Why choose Lichtbildpalast?
