Hi, I’m Christoph — a wedding photographer based in Westerstede who also loves photographing families. My experience capturing weddings taught me to see and freeze the small, decisive moments; that same sensitivity I bring to family sessions so your everyday emotions become lasting memories. My approach is simple: no awkward poses, only real emotions. I shoot family sessions in a reportage style — we spend relaxed, authentic time together while I unobtrusively document the true moments. Whether we wander along the beach on Föhr, stroll through a park near Westerstede, or play on a nearby meadow, I look for places where your family feels natural and comfortable. Children’s photography needs patience, playfulness and flexibility. I let the kids set the pace, bring in little games and create a friendly atmosphere where genuine smiles and curiosity can unfold. How we work together: we have a short meeting or phone call to get to know one another, choose a location and agree on the mood you want. Then we meet for a relaxed shoot. Afterwards you’ll receive the edited images in high resolution — and I’m happy to advise on prints, photo books or calendars so your memories can be enjoyed beyond screens. Although I’m known as a wedding photographer in Westerstede specializing in wedding reportage, I bring the same care and attentiveness to family photography.
