Photogenica

Photogenica, based in Stuhr/Weyhe, focuses on family photography with a special emphasis on newborn and maternity sessions. Our approach favours real moments over staged poses: we aim to capture the laughter, touch and small gestures that make your family unique. The Photogenica team—Monika, Florian, Carrie and Olga—are trained photographers and media designers who bring calm, experience and warmth to every session, especially when working with babies and young children. Our studio is designed to feel like home. With two individually styled studio rooms, a bright daylight studio, a freestanding bathtub and a photo shower, we create beautiful milk-bath, maternity and newborn sets. For natural family and children’s portraits we also use our photogarden or favourite outdoor locations nearby. This mix of cosy studio settings and open-air shoots gives your images variety and character. The process is relaxed and personal: we start with a short consultation to understand your wishes and ideas. During the shoot we foster a comfortable atmosphere—taking time to ease children into the session and handling newborns with the utmost care. Afterwards, you can view your carefully edited images in our studio or via a password-protected online gallery. Photogenica pays attention to the little things: subtle retouching, considered cropping and tailored presentation options (albums, wall art, mini leporellos) complete the experience. In addition to family and newborn photography, we also photograph baptisms, communions and children’s birthday events on request—always with the same sensitivity for emotion. Why choose Photogenica?
