Foto Lingen by Aljoscha Otten creates honest, emotional images with a focus on capturing the decisive moment. With primary experience in weddings, events and portraits, I accompany couples, event hosts and individuals in Lingen and the wider Emsland area, documenting real, unposed moments. Family photography is offered as an additional service rather than my core specialty. I do, however, photograph families, babies and children — as well as occasions like baptisms or communions — with the same care and attention I bring to my main work. My goal is to create a relaxed setting where natural interactions can happen, because those are the moments that become lasting memories. Why choose Foto Lingen? My approach blends calm, empathy and attention to detail. My background as a paramedic and my voluntary work in the fire and disaster services have taught me the value of single moments. That outlook informs my photography: I look for authentic expressions rather than staged poses. Whether it’s a tender glance, a spontaneous laugh or the sparkle in a child’s eye, I capture it respectfully. How I work: Before every shoot we talk through your ideas and wishes. I schedule enough time to avoid pressure — my promise is to keep going until you are happy with the results. On location I create a relaxed atmosphere that helps children and parents feel comfortable. We can use familiar spots in and around Lingen or choose a location together somewhere in the Emsland.
