As a family photographer based in Leer, my focus is simple: authenticity. Since founding FeuerQuell in 2016 I have accompanied families with an open, relaxed manner, photographing the real bonds between people—whether maternity, newborns, children’s portraits, baptisms or communion. I prefer shooting outdoors across East Frisia, where the atmosphere becomes relaxed and unposed, perfect for genuine family photos. Why choose FeuerQuell? The result are natural newborn and family photos that reflect personality and closeness. My style combines documentary observation with striking imagery: contemporary composition, warm timeless light and real emotions. Before a session we talk about your wishes and pick locations—often favourite spots in and around Leer. My experience as a wedding and business photographer sharpens my eye for detail and composition, which benefits family photography as well. How does a shoot work? It’s straightforward: we plan the style and timing, meet at the chosen location, and I take time for you—with patience, fun and flexibility. Newborn sessions are gentle and calm (at home or outside); family and children sessions mix play and candid moments so the photographs stay true. Local to Leer but mobile across regions, I travel with my campervan and bring a warm, family-like energy—supported by my wife Tomke and our labradors.
