With more than 23 years in people photography, my core work focuses on portraits, business headshots and wedding reportage. Complementing these specialties, I also offer family and children photography on request: maternity and newborn sessions, children’s portraits, baptisms/communions and birthday shoots — either in my Buchholz studio or on location around Hamburg and northern Germany. Why choose me for family moments Family photography is a natural extension of my people work: the same attention to expression, light and atmosphere that shapes my portraits and wedding images is applied to familial moments. I aim to capture relaxed, authentic interactions rather than forced poses. Important to note: portrait, wedding and business commissions remain my primary focus — family sessions are offered as an additional, carefully handled service. My approach and style I work calmly and respectfully to create a comfortable setting for every client. Before your session we discuss wishes, locations and timing by phone or in person. In the studio I control light and mood; on location I use the environment to support the story. After the shoot you receive a password‑protected online gallery for selection and download. Detailed retouching, image editing and premium print products including handcrafted photo albums are available.
