I’m Gardis Schulte-Übbing, a family photographer based near Bad Bentheim. I focus on the honest, unposed moments that make family life so unique: playful mornings, quiet cuddles, the small gestures that tell your story. My style is documentary-driven and warm — I observe and capture true connections rather than stage them. Photography has been part of my life since childhood, from analog film to digital work. That background still informs my images: I pay attention to natural light and atmosphere, and I often offer analog 35 mm film as an option for a nostalgic, tactile feel. My goal is to create photographs that bring back the emotion of a moment every time you look at them. My process is personal and relaxed. Before the session we talk about your wishes, locations and styling; I offer guidance on clothing and access to a client wardrobe. Whether we meet outdoors at golden hour, in your home where everyone feels comfortable, or on a favorite walk, I strive to create a calm space where children can be themselves and families can connect naturally. I photograph families, babies, newborns, mothers & children and also document events such as baptisms, communions and birthday parties. I’m also active as a wedding photographer in the Bad Bentheim region, and that experience enriches my approach to family storytelling. Why choose me?
