I’m Kati (Katrin Wendel) from ka-lotta_photography in Schwerin. After discovering my passion for photography in 2016 and turning it into a sideline in 2018, I’ve been accompanying families with an open eye and a lot of heart. My images tell real stories: from intimate newborn moments to joyful family laughter and playful birthday scenes. I notice what you don’t see — and I capture it for you. As a family photographer my focus is on creating natural, unforced images. Whether outdoors around Schwerin or as a homestory in your home, I prioritise comfort and authenticity. I work calmly and attentively, avoiding heavy staging so genuine emotions can shine through. Parents appreciate my relaxed, personal approach — children and babies quickly pick up the easy atmosphere and can simply be themselves. My work is aimed at couples and families who value authenticity over posed perfection. I photograph family sessions, children and baby photography, newborns and document special moments like baptisms, communions or small birthday celebrations. I also work in Schwerin as a wedding photographer and portrait photographer, but for family bookings the relationships and everyday moments take center stage. The process is straightforward: we discuss your wishes beforehand, choose a suitable location, and create a relaxed setting during the shoot.
