I’m Johanna from ohohfoto — specialised in documentary family photography. My focus is simple: to create images that make your heart skip a beat today and decades from now. I don’t stage perfection; I look for the real, unscripted moments that define family life: breakfast with crumbs under the table, playful chaos in the living room, tender newborn cuddles. That authenticity is my signature and why families choose to work with me. My approach is gentle, curious and observant. I won’t give posing instructions or alter your day — sometimes I’m quietly at the edge of the scene, sometimes right in the middle of the block tower. This way I capture calm, emotional images that feel like your life rather than a studio session. I bring my ‚Herzklopfen‘: an eye for detail, natural light and the sense for when a moment unfolds. How we work together: first we get in touch to see if we click. Before the shoot I send a short questionnaire to understand your rhythms and what matters to you. On the day we meet at your home or favourite place — with coffee, tea or water. Kids often need time to forget the camera; from experience the best photos come when we allow space. After the session I carefully select and edit the images. You’ll receive a password-protected online gallery to choose your favourites. Prints and fine-art options are available on request. Family work is my core; in addition I also photograph newborn and maternity moments, children and portraits, and I offer business reportage for self-employed people who want honest images for their websites and social channels. One important note: I do not publish clearly identifiable child faces on my website or social media to protect the little ones. The benefit for you: many of the images we make can still be shared online without revealing faces.
