I’m Katharina — your family photographer on the Bergstraße. My photography is guided by authenticity, emotion and the small moments that later become your most treasured memories. When I stand behind the camera, I look and wait for the genuine gestures and interactions that reveal who you truly are. Those unscripted moments are the ones that move us. Family photography is my passion. Whether it’s a family session outdoors, a cozy homestory at home, or a maternity shoot in nature, my approach is calm, attentive and unforced. I create an environment where children can move freely and parents can relax. This freedom results in lively photos full of warmth and authenticity — not staged portraits, but little time-travel snapshots that bring you back to your happiest moments. As a mother myself, I know how quickly time passes. The pregnancy period and the first weeks with a newborn are fleeting and intense. I accompany you to capture these times with sensitivity and care: focusing on closeness, small details and always honoring your needs. I prefer natural light and organise the session without time pressure — true emotions cannot be hurried. My process begins with a personal meeting so I can understand what matters to you. Together we choose the location and the mood — homestory or outdoor setting — and I advise on clothing and timing to keep everything relaxed. On the day of the shoot I foster a laid-back atmosphere where laughter, cuddles and little adventures can unfold. Afterwards you receive your images lovingly edited so they reflect you.
