My work as a documentary family photographer is about preserving the ordinary, intimate moments of family life — warm, honest and unposed. I'm Annie Rohse; over the past decade I've photographed more than 200 families and, as a mother myself, I deeply understand how fleeting these phases are and how valuable authentic images become. That approach produces natural family photos that truly reflect who you are — from first nursing moments in the early weeks to everyday rituals in the first year of your baby’s life. What sets my approach apart is attentive observation. Instead of directing, I go with the flow of your day, searching for small details — tiny fingers, tousled hair, exchanged glances — and present them in a warm, consistent visual style. Post-processing is subtle and emotional, matching the look you see in my portfolio. How we work together: first, we have a no-obligation introductory call (phone/Zoom/FaceTime) to make sure we’re a good fit. On the day I’ll document the agreed timeframe — whether a short newborn reportage, a half-day or a full-day family documentation. Afterwards I carefully select and edit the best images and provide them via an online gallery for easy viewing and download. My primary focus is on families, babies and newborns. I also photograph children and offer maternity shoots occasionally, but family documentation remains at the core of my work.
