I’m Silja from Filimago — as a family photographer based in Hamburg I capture the genuine moments that make family life unique. With more than fifteen years of experience and as a mother of three, I work patiently and sensitively to create relaxed photo sessions where children and babies feel safe and parents can be themselves. My main focus is family photography, together with newborn and maternity (baby bump) sessions. I favour natural light and unobtrusive, storytelling images over staged poses. My aim is to create photographs that look beautiful on your walls and meaningful in your albums — images that reflect your family’s character and everyday intimacy. How I work: we begin with a personal planning call to define your wishes, style and location. Whether we meet for a homestory at your home, an outdoor shoot or in my Sasel studio, I ensure a calm atmosphere and enough time for genuine moments to unfold. After the shoot we meet again for an individual image selection where I present your pictures in a lovingly produced slideshow and advise you on prints and products. Family photos are included in newborn sessions and I offer premium photo products such as handcrafted albums, passepartouts and wooden prints. I also photograph babies and children and can arrange milestone or birthday sessions as supplementary options — always with a focus on natural emotion and atmosphere.
