Family photography is more than a job for me — it’s a passion. As a family photographer based in Hamburg Niendorf, I create relaxed, genuine portraits either in my studio, at your home or at a meaningful location. My focus is on people, their relationships and those small, authentic moments that make family photos truly memorable. Why choose me: building rapport is essential. I begin with a conversation to understand your wishes and the mood you want to capture. Working with children requires patience and flexibility: arrival, play, laughter — and showing the kids the photos as we go to keep them engaged. As a father myself, I’m used to the unpredictability of family life. If a session doesn’t go as planned, we can easily redo it without extra cost. My style balances natural, documentary moments with clear visual design. High-quality post-processing is part of the service; images receive the distinctive Tappé look that enhances color, contrast and expression while preserving authenticity. From newborn and baby photography to children’s portraits, baptisms and communions, I sensitively document the stages of your family’s life. How we work together: we clarify location and wishes beforehand. During the shoot I ensure a calm, playful atmosphere so genuine expressions and closeness can emerge. Afterwards I present the images in person or via a password-protected online gallery, we select the favourites together and I complete the final retouching.
