Hi, I’m Anja — your family and newborn photographer based in the south of Hamburg. With more than 20 years of experience, I’ve found my passion in newborn and family photography. As a mum of two, I know how quickly childhood passes. I love creating images that keep those fleeting moments alive. Why choose me? I focus on comfort and authenticity. Working with natural daylight and a gentle, playful approach, I create space for children to be themselves — through games, pauses and spontaneous interactions. This allows me to capture true expressions and real connections rather than posed smiles. How I work: Newborn sessions are calm and unrushed — I usually accept only one newborn shoot per day to give every family full attention. The best time for sleepy newborn portraits is often within the first 5–14 days of life. For older babies I offer home sessions and bring soft blankets, baskets and accessories; personal items like favourite toys are always welcome. Family and children’s sessions can take place in my small home studio or on location. For active children I love outdoor shoots — in heathland, gardens or playgrounds — where I photograph them almost unobtrusively to catch candid, lively moments. In addition to family and newborn work, I also photograph babies, children, maternity and birthday moments — always prioritising warmth, authenticity and emotion.
