As an experienced, professionally trained photographer, my passion is family photography. I’m Katrin Heß from Hess Fotografie and I photograph families in and around Hamburg, preserving the warm, fleeting moments of everyday life. Whether it’s a calm studio session, a lively outdoor shoot at a favorite spot, or multi‑generation portraits, my aim is to capture genuine emotions and the unique dynamics of your family. My approach is patient and empathetic: I create a relaxed atmosphere where children can be themselves — play, laugh and reveal authentic expressions without forced poses. As a mother and a photographer (trained in 2001 and self‑employed since 2004) I understand the flexibility and time a family session requires. The result are natural family photos that become cherished keepsakes. I combine technical quality with creative vision, using professional equipment and a trained eye for light, composition and decisive moments. Your wishes matter: in a pre‑shoot consultation we define the style, location and special shots (siblings, grandparents, meaningful props). After the shoot you can comfortably select images in a password‑protected online gallery and receive your chosen files in high resolution. Family photographs are time capsules: I love small gestures, spontaneous looks and everyday details that tell a story.
