I’m Nicole de Melo — a family photographer based in Berlin, mother of two and a storyteller with images. My work focuses on what truly defines a family: closeness, tenderness and the small unposed gestures that grow into lasting memories. In maternity shoots I like to capture the glow and anticipation of expectant mothers, often including partners and children to show the shared excitement. Newborn home stories are all about warmth and security: intimate moments between parents, siblings and grandparents in your familiar environment. How I work: our collaboration begins with an open conversation about your wishes, favourite places and the flow of the session. On the day of the shoot I create a calm, playful atmosphere where laughter and closeness emerge naturally. Afterwards I carefully select the strongest images and edit them with care so they become enduring keepsakes. My motivation comes from being a parent myself — I know how quickly these moments pass. I aim to create images that let you relive these times again and again.
