As a family photographer based in Treptow, I focus on the honest, everyday moments that make family life unique. I’m Johanna Fischer — artist, mother and photographer — and my images are made to hold tenderness, connection and the small rituals that shape your story. My visual approach blends documentary sensitivity with an artistic eye: I look for the extraordinary within the ordinary and aim to make the individuality of each family visible. I accompany families through newborn and baby sessions, document those first weeks of life, and capture children’s birthdays, baptisms and communions, as well as everyday family life. My work is characterized by calm, intimacy and an empathetic presence — often in familiar settings where everyone feels at ease, so that natural interactions and genuine emotions can unfold. The process is personal and collaborative: I take time to get to know you, understand your wishes and create a relaxed atmosphere — especially important with little ones. During the session I observe and gently guide when needed, preferring to record spontaneous moments rather than staged poses. The result are images that bring back the warmth, the small gestures and the true feeling of this time. My background as a mother, artist and yoga teacher informs my practice: I work thoughtfully, respectfully and with attention to composition, light and mood.
