I’m Ben — a family photographer based in Berlin with a focused approach: capturing genuine, unstaged moments of everyday family life. My work centers on documentary-style family reportages (“a day in the life”), where I accompany you at home or outdoors and preserve the small, fleeting moments that later become your most treasured memories. I prefer a calm, observant style: no stiff posing, but natural movement, real laughter and the quiet gestures between parents and children. Why choose me? How I work: In a short pre-shoot conversation we clarify what matters to you — whether you want a half-day homestory, a compact family session or photos around the birth. On location I act as a quiet companion rather than a director: I look for moments, avoid being intrusive and only step in when it helps the flow. Many families appreciate that I keep the atmosphere relaxed with a bit of humor so children can let go and natural pictures emerge. While family photography is my main focus, I also take on portrait and business clients — for expressive parent portraits or professional headshots. I occasionally photograph newborns and maternity sessions and like to integrate those images into a broader family reportage so they become part of your life story.
