Family photography is at the heart of my work. I, Katrin Penschke, focus on revealing what makes your family unique: tender looks, sibling laughter, and the delicate closeness of newborns. My images combine natural expression, a clear visual language and careful use of light to create timeless photographs you will treasure. My approach: I blend portrait-driven composition with a documentary eye for genuine moments. Before the session we discuss your wishes — location (studio or on location), style and wardrobe — and plan a shoot tailored to you. During the session I gently guide, offer small prompts and use both natural and studio light to shape mood and character. After the shoot you’ll receive a personal online gallery to choose your favorites; selected images are professionally retouched. The result is authentic family portraiture that reflects personalities and relationships — not staged catalog images, but memories in which you truly recognise yourselves. I work primarily in Berlin, Cottbus and the surrounding area and look forward to telling your family’s story in pictures.
