I’m Melanie from Merian Moments — as a family photographer based in Wendelstein I accompany families with passion through the special chapters of their lives. My work focuses on what truly matters: real relationships, everyday rituals and those fleeting moments that become the most treasured memories. Why choose me? I bring a calm, respectful approach and a strong eye for natural light. Whether a maternity session at golden hour, a newborn shoot at home, or lively children’s portraits — my images aim to convey emotion, not just aesthetics. I often prefer relaxed walks at favourite locations because the most natural photos appear when children play and parents can be themselves. My style is approachable and relaxed. Before the shoot we usually have a short chat or a small test session — great for anyone who feels nervous in front of the camera. On the day I create an atmosphere where even the little ones feel comfortable. I favour natural light and sometimes use vintage lenses for a special look. If desired, I can also capture video alongside photos to provide moving and still memories from one source. You’ll receive thoughtfully edited images in high resolution via digital download; selected photos are carefully retouched. I primarily work in Wendelstein and the surrounding area (Nuremberg, Fürth, Erlangen, Schwabach, Roth, Ansbach) and I’m happy to come to your favourite spot.
