Fotoflair specialises in authentic, emotional family photography around Weiden. My name is Michaela Völkl — a mother of two and a photographer since 2014. Being a parent myself informs my approach: I work patiently and attentively to capture the tiny, honest moments that become treasured memories. My photographic style is calm and natural. I prefer candid interactions over stiff posing, aiming to capture the real connections between family members — the quiet hugs, spontaneous laughter, and gentle looks. Many sessions take place in my cosy studio in Bechtsrieth, which is set up with newborn- and child-friendly amenities such as a changing area, nursing pillow and a range of carefully chosen outfits and props. Outdoor sessions are available if you prefer family photos in a familiar or natural setting. The process is simple and relaxed: we start with a short pre-shoot conversation to discuss your wishes and the flow of the session. During the shoot I create a relaxed atmosphere where children feel safe to be themselves — often the best images come from play and interaction rather than posed moments. For newborn shoots I prioritise safety and gentle handling at all times. After the session I professionally edit the chosen images and provide them via a password-protected online gallery for easy viewing. Why choose Fotoflair?
