Welcome to Fotomanufaktur Schadenfroh — your family photographer based in Vilshofen. I’m Manuela Schadenfroh: a mother, family person and trained photographer (apprenticeship 2007–2010) with years of experience capturing authentic family life. My focus is on real moments — warm, unobtrusive and rich in detail. Why choose me: I don’t work with one-size-fits-all programs. Every family and every child has a unique character, and my sessions are tailored to reflect that individuality. Whether it’s familiar toys for toddlers, a careful approach for newborns or playful scenes in the photo garden, I take the time to build trust and capture spontaneous emotion. My studio, the renovated barn (Fotostadl) and the surrounding photo garden offer versatile backdrops for classic or creative family photography. How I work: A personal meeting helps us define your wishes and ideas. During the shoot I guide you calmly and without time pressure, offering gentle direction and pose suggestions so everyone feels comfortable. For newborns I schedule breaks and ensure a warm, secure environment — I also use special props such as a warming lamp and the beloved music box Karlotta. After the session I carefully select, optimize and retouch the images to produce timeless memories. I value craftsmanship: many clients appreciate bespoke photo books and high-quality print products that turn images into tangible keepsakes. From my base in Vilshofen / Bartlmühle I photograph families, children, babies and newborns, and I also sensitively document baptisms, communions and small celebrations like children’s birthday parties.
