Authentic family photography made simple — that’s the philosophy behind glimpse of life. I’m Ann‑Marie Schilling: a mum, trained photo designer (Deutsche Pop München) and former researcher. I work with families in Landshut and nearby areas who prefer real moments over staged perfection. My images focus on what family life actually feels like: warm, lively and unforced. Why choose me? I bring calm, empathy and a sensitive eye for the little, often overlooked details of everyday family life. Being highly sensitive and an INFJ helps me connect with children and handle sensitive situations gently: I create a relaxed atmosphere where even shy kids open up naturally. My academic background (PhD in palaeontology) adds patience, attention to detail and structured planning — all useful for well‑run, yet relaxed photo sessions. How I work: We usually start with a short introduction — feel free to contact me via WhatsApp. We define your wishes, the location and the timing. I photograph at your home or at outdoor favourite spots; you don’t have to prepare anything. I work predominantly documentary‑style: capturing play, glances and interactions, complemented by a few natural portraits or small staged moments that reflect your daily life. After the shoot I provide a password‑protected online gallery for selection; your chosen images are then professionally edited and delivered in high resolution. Who it’s for: Families of all sizes, expectant parents (maternity), newborns, young children and small family events like birthdays. While I photograph these secondary moments with great care, my primary focus remains documentary family sessions and natural portraits.
