Hi — I'm Franzi, a master photographer (Fotografenmeisterin) based in Kulmbach with a deep passion for photographing people and families. After completing my training in 2015 and earning my master title in 2017, I worked extensively in commercial studios, but my heart belongs to family and people photography. As a family photographer I aim to create honest, timeless images — not stiff poses, but real moments. From relaxed family sessions outdoors to natural portraits of children, newborn photography and celebrations like baptisms or communions, I look for the smiles, the small gestures and quiet instances that become cherished memories. My approach is calm and sensitive so that children and babies feel comfortable and parents can fully be themselves. I work in a relaxed, informal way and do my best to take the nervousness away: gentle guidance, patient pauses and time for authentic interaction. I blend documentary storytelling with a few guided moments to capture both spontaneous and composed family photos. Although family photography is a core focus, I am also active as a wedding photographer in Kulmbach and specialize in emotional wedding reportage — an experience that enriches how I capture family gatherings and special ceremonies.
