I’m Damaris Schwarzrock — wife, mother of four and a devoted family photographer based in Hof. My work focuses on preserving authentic, lively memories: no stiff posing, but natural, unposed images that show you as you are. Family and children’s photography are my passion; I know how to engage children or give them the space to simply be themselves, resulting in honest portraits full of life. My approach is gentle and personal. Before every shoot we have a short conversation to understand your wishes and tailor the session so everyone feels comfortable. Many of my sessions take place outdoors where the light and surroundings produce the most relaxed, vibrant photos. For newborn photography I often come to your home for a homestory — familiar surroundings create a calm atmosphere and allow for intimate family moments. What sets me apart is my experience with children — both as a mother and through many years of working with kids — which helps me build rapport, create trust and spot the moments that become memorable photographs. I guide with subtle cues rather than strict directions so that children and parents can stay natural. The result are unique images that reflect your family’s personality.
