Hello, I'm Doreen — known as Dory — and as a family photographer based near Bayreuth I capture the genuine, heartfelt moments that make your family unique. My approach is sensitive, personal and warm: I want you to feel comfortable while we make the small and large connections within your family visible. Animals and people have been part of my life since childhood — horses and dogs in particular — and that experience shapes how I work: patient, respectful and calm around children and animals so that natural and trusting images emerge. I favour natural light, candid moments and authentic emotion over heavily posed shots. I focus on atmosphere and mood — the quiet first glances after birth, spontaneous laughter while playing, or gentle cuddles at home. My goal is to create images that bring you back to how that moment felt. My process is relaxed and child-friendly: I take time to get to know you, guide the session sensitively and make the shoot itself a pleasant experience. Whether a homestory in your familiar surroundings, a relaxed outdoor session or pictures including your animal family members, I aim to create photos that reflect personality and connection. I also offer creative touches like a dress you can borrow or handmade flower crowns for horses to enhance your images. As a mother and through ongoing training in live coachings and workshops, I've developed a keen eye for emotion and visual storytelling. If you are looking for natural family photos, tender newborn portraits or lively children’s photography in the Bayreuth area, I'd love to work with you. On request I also take on a limited number of weddings, but my main focus and expertise remain family photography.
